A bit more about Bat, Bar and B’nai Mitzvahs...

I absolutely LOVE photographing Bat, Bar and B’nai Mitzvahs! They are my favorite event to photograph and I have specialized in them for over 15+ years now. In addition, I have been blessed to work with the best of the best in the Bay Area on dozens of events, so if you’re stuck finding vendors, I have recommendations see below or inquire with us!

What I love most about Bat, Bar and B’nai Mitzvahs is capturing the family members’ participation and all the love and joy that everyone brings to the event. It is such a special time for the family, and the kids are so loved and supported by everyone, it’s a joy to witness. I feel truly honored to be able to participate in such a special day in a child’s life, and love capturing the memories for their families that will last forever.

My style of shooting is intentional, but also relaxed and fun, as you can probably tell from the testimonials of past clients who have worked with me! I love what I do and one of the things I take pride in most is that I truly enjoy being part of the event and have a great time engaging with my clients and their guests, making it a memorable day for all. Many people say working with me during such an important day in their lives is like hanging out with a friend, versus being stressed and overwhelmed!

A typical day photographing a Bat, Bar and B’nai Mitzvah is around 8 hours, but this can vary depending on your event’s schedule. We can also plan a portrait session a few months before to get a nice photo of your child for the event or invitation.

Here is what you can expect of a typical Bat, Bar or B’nai Mitzvah Day:

Timing:

9:00am – 10:00am = Family photos at the Synagogue

10:30am – 12:30pm = Photography of the service (if allowed) at the Synagogue

12:30pm – 1:30pm = Photos of the kiddush lunch (which can also lead into an afternoon party, depending on the event schedule)

6:30 – 10:30pm = Photos of the evening party (window can vary, depending on event schedule)
