The Mitzvah Morning...
FUN FACT: My favorite part to photograph of a Bat/Bar/B'nai Mitzvah is the service!
There’s something so special about that morning. The love, support, pride, tradition and emotion surrounding the kiddo and their family is truly magical. Watching family and friends come together to celebrate, encourage and support them during such an important milestone is incredibly powerful and those are the moments I love capturing most. The hugs. The proud smiles. The little glances. The tears. The joy.
Those memories are going to mean so much for years to come, and I feel so lucky every time I get to be there to document it all. ❤️
Here’s what you can typically expect when it comes to the timing of the Mitzvah Morning...
Timing:
- 9:00am – 10:00am = Family photos at the Temple, outside/inside with the Torah
- 10:30am – 12:30pm = Photography of the service (if allowed)
- 12:30pm – 1:30pm = Photos of the kiddush lunch (which can also lead into an afternoon party, depending on the event schedule)
